Accessibility analysis is a powerful tool for planners, to assess how mobility measures enable people to travel to various destinations. By using accessibility analysis, planners get deep understanding of what works, and what are the barriers to better connectivity.
Flexible accessibility analysis
PTV Visum enables planners to get a flexible implementation of the appropriate accessibility indicator. This is mostly based on general accessibility measures such as travel time, distance, public transport service frequency, number of required transfers, and costs.
In addition, users of PTV Visum can also include, for example, CO2 emissions or safety indicators. This can be defined per mode as car, e-vehicle, bicycle, e- bike, public transport or walk.
Other measures which combine the indicators of different modes can be implemented. There are no limits to the imagination here.
